Barman is an architectural practice based in Venice, founded by Roberta Bartolone e Giulio Mangano.
Barman architecture projects
We provide a wide range of architectural and design services, as well as separate or included research, management. Our projects and expertise include the design of the interiors, buildings, private, public, educational spaces. The services can include the design of the management, dynamics, the economic sustainability of the buildings.
Barman research and recycling projects
Our expertise in the research and teaching of urban planning, architecture and restoration aims us to provide services oriented in the research field.
The "recycling" of the exhibitions, using the potential of the installed artworks during the Biennale in Venice became part of our permanent research workshop. What was successful and interesting during the Biennale, can be interesting for the companies, organizations, cities, regions, We are here to help with making it happen!

Founders of Barman
Roberta Bartolone
Roberta Bartolone received a Master of Architecture and a Ph.D. in Architecture from IUAV University of Venice. She was involved in several restoration projects of historic buildings in Venice and new commercial buildings and private houses in Angola. She is currently a teaching assistant and researcher at IUAV in Architectural and Restoration.
Giulio Mangano
Giulio Mangano graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, received a Master of Architecture from IUAV University in Venice. After a period of training and work abroad, he came back to Italy, where he joined the professional practice and teaching assistantship activity in Architecture and Urban Design at IUAV University.
